The EU Code of Conduct for Datacentre Energy Efficiency stakeholder meeting held on London last November heard presentations from datacentre operators that implemented the code. This gave valuable insight into their experiences and the net effect of the code. Presentations were given on private data centres from Microsoft, Hewlett Packard and PGS, comercial colocation data centres were represented by Telecity. The all the presentations covered how the code was implemented the changes it bought about and analysis of the net savings in energy and cost.
